Ruby Irene Moore

Ruby Lisk Moore departed this life for her Heavenly Home on Sunday August 26, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 Wednesday at Cordova United Methodist Church, the Rev. Brooks Gale will officiate, burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. Ruby was born on December 4, 1919 in Richmond County, NC a daughter of the late Robert Jerome Lisk Sr. and Annie Irene Lisk. She was a certified Nursing Assistant retiring from Richmond Memorial Hospital after 25 years of service. She served the Lord faithfully and was a member of Cordova United Methodist Church where she served in the Choir and as a Senior Nightengale. Ruby will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother , sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver Reid Moore, brothers James Franklin Lisk and Robert Jerome Lisk, Jr. Ruby is survived by one daughter Deborah Moore Oneal and husband Charles Oneal, Sr., two granddaughters Krystie Grooms and husband Brian Lewis of Laurinburg , Heather Wright Locklear and husband Kevin Locklear of Rockingham, three great grandchildren Brandon Rankin Yanistan and Chayton Locklear and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Tuesday evening at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home of Debbie and Charles Oneal, Sr. 502 Old Cheraw Hwy. Rockingham, NC.
