Fannie Belle Greene

Fannie Belle Mauldin Greene, 81, of 5247 Woodrun on Tillery died Sunday September 9, 2012 at her home. Born December 4, 1930 in Montgomery County, NC a daughter of the late Clyde and Lizzie Walker Mauldin, she was a homemaker and worked with Russell Harvelle Hosiery. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Joseph Greene, a son Andy Greene, a daughter, Wanda Monroe and her brothers Graham, Johnny and Jimmy Mauldin and a son-in-law, Don Shaw. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:30 PM Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe, Rev. Brantley Moore will officiate, burial will follow at Little River United Methodist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her son Robert Wayne Greene and wife Shirley of Mt. Gilead, Janet Ondishko and husband Joe of Woodrun, Trudy Shaw of Ellerbe and Debbie Greene of the home. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 1:30-2:30 PM. Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and other times at the home.
