Deborah Ann McGlothen

Deborah Ann McGlothen, 54, of 1920 Parker Lane, Rockingham, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at her home. Ms. McGlothen was born April 17, 1953 in Richmond County, a daughter of William and Ruby Long Lassiter. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, a graduate of Rockingham High School and Richmond Technical College. She retired as Librarian of Richmond Community College following 34 years of service. Surviving are her parents, William and Ruby Long Lassiter of the home, a brother, Clayton Holmes, Jr. of Hamlet, two sisters, Betty Barfield of Laurinburg and Rhonda Pate of Delco. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery. The family will see friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Parker Lane.
