Shirley Roller Snipes

Shirley Dianne Roller Snipes, 65, of Hamlet, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at Richmond Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Hamlet. Mrs. Snipes was born December 26, 1946 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Frank Roller and Louise Clack Sears. She was retired from Lee Jeans and was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sears. Surviving are her daughters, Cindy Braddock of Hartsville, SC, Sandy Lusk and husband Tom of Winston Salem; sisters, Carolyn Porter and husband Steve of Statesville, Patsy Freeman and husband Chief of Hamlet; grandchildren, Hannah Braddock, Grayson Braddock, Kody Lusk, Ericsson Lusk, Sheri Lusk, Jennifer Lusk, Scott Lusk and 4 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3 pm Thursday at Richmond County Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Hawks officiating. The family will see friends immediately following the service.
