Carl Harrelson

Carl Ray Harrelson, 74, of 144 6th Street Safie, Rockingham died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. He was born February 27, 1933 in Robeson Co., a son of the late Lewis C. and Katie Blackburn Harrelson. Mr. Harrelson was retired from the textile industry. He was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, November 23rd in the Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Joe B. Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow at Richmond Memorial Park. Surviving are a sister, Clara Pugh of Rockingham; two brothers, L. C. Harrelson of Colorado Springs, CO and Willie Harrelson of Coventry, CT; and a nephew, Wayne Corder and wife Colleen of Rockingham. Mr. Harrelson was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Harrelson.
