Alma Currie Kozel

Alma Currie Kozel, 78, of Ellerbe, died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. She was born May 20, 1934 in Richmond County to the late James W. and Geneva Williams Currie. She is survived by her son, Ken Alexander of Corpus Christi, TX, brothers, Ed Currie of Charlotte, NC and John Currie of Nashville, TN, sisters, Jane Cox of Thomasville, NC and Mary Lawrence of Ellerbe, NC, five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Green Lake United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Elizabeth Polk officiating. The family will see friends Saturday from 12:30-1:30 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe.
