Adele Maner Tilley

Mrs. Adele Marie Maner Tilley, 79, of 153 Manor Road, Rockingham, died Tuesday, December 18,2007, at her home. She was born November 1, 1928 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Julia and Ida McDonald Maner. She retired from Georgia Pacific as an inspector. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerald Tilley and a daughter Rhonda Allison. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday in the Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. David Crumpler officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. She is survived by son Jerry D. Tilley of Rockingham, daughters Brenda Gainey of Rockingham and Becky Mabe of Ellerbe, brother Billy Ray Maner of Rockingham, sister Jean Brooks of Rockingham, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
