Charlie Wright

Mr. Charlie Daniel Wright, 73, of Rockingham died Wednesday, January 09, 2008 at Rockingham Manor. He was born June 10, 1934, a son of the late Joe and Lillie Mae Wright. Mr. Wright had been a member of Cobb Memorial Baptist Church, was a farmer, and worked in maintenance with the Department of Transportation. Funeral services will be conducted graveside 2:00 pm Saturday, January 12th in the Wright-Woodard Cemetery at Old Hundred in Laurel Hill with Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating. Surviving are three sisters, Linda Smith of Rockingham, Juanita Hartsell of Albemarle, and Betty McDaniel of Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Alton Wright, Joe Cameron Wright, Robert Lee Wright, Alma Venos, Ruth Culley, Katie English, and Winfred Wright.
