Jane Cardwell Kinney

Sarah Jane Cardwell Kinney, 69, of 163 W. Church Street, Ellerbe, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Kinney was born January 21, 1939 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Hardin Noah and Grace Marie Leak Cardwell. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellerbe and had retired from FirstNational Bank. Her brother, Jack Cardwell and her sister, June Cardwell, preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, Donald E. Kinney of the home, son, Richard D. Kinney of Bellingham, WA, daughter and son in law, Donna Lynn and Dave Hogoboom of Byron Center, MI, sister, Jeanette Pratt of Burleson, TX and 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Hogoboom, Joseph Hogoboom, Asher Kinney and Christian Kinney. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Ellerbe with Rev. Jim Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home on W.
