Mrs. Mozelle Terry Blue, 77, of 234 Elder Street, Rockingham, went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2012, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on March 21, 1935, in Rockingham, a daughter of the late Wade and Julia Mae Terry. Mozelle was married for 61 years to the love of her life, Everett S. Blue. She was a life-long member of Green Lake United Methodist Church and retired as a senior customer service representative at BB&T. After retirement, she worked for the North Carolina Motor Speedway. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Green Lake United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Taylor and Rev. Carl Vierling officiating. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home. In addition to her parents, Mozelle was preceded in death by a brother, James W. Terry. She is survived by her husband, Everett S. Blue of the home; son, Spergie Blue and wife Mandy of Yadkinville; daughters, Teresa Brown and husband Jack , Sherrie McMillan and husband Steve, all of Rockingham; grandchildren, Matthew Blue, Madison Blue, Taylor Allen, Mallory Brown, Maggie McMillan, David McMillan and wife Nayla; great granddaughter, Sierra McMillan; and a sister, Nancy Traynham of Rockingham. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to the Green Lake Church Cemetery Fund at 162 Ledbetter Bay Cove, Rockingham, N.C. 28379.
