Herbert Clifford Harden

Herbert Clifford Harden, 79, of 165 Chalk Road, Rockingham, died Monday, February 11, 2008 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. Mr. Harden was born August 1, 1928 in Richmond County, a son of the late Emery and Ida Faircloth Harden. He served his country in the Korean War, attended Outreach for Jesus, and had retired from TNS Mills. His brothers and sister, A.J. Harden, Clyde Harden and Dorothy Howell, preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Margie Taylor Harden of the home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Outreach for Jesus with Rev. Gary Richardson and Rev. Shannon Leviner officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Chalk Road.
