Rhumilles "Junior" Davis

Rhumilles “Junior” Davis, 78 , formerly of Rockingham, passed away Friday, January. 18, 2013 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst. He was born December 12, 1934 in Richmond County North Carolina. A son of Grace Rhumeilles and Reba Edwards Davis. He was employed in the maintenance department of Fruit Of The Loom as well as Rockingham United Methodist Church prior to retirement. He was also a Veteran of the NC National Guard. He is survived by his daughters; Crystal Pitts of Garner, NC, Wanda Sharpe of Mt. Gilead, NC, Cindy Nichols , Lou-Ann Gathings, Karen McQueen all of Rockingham, NC, 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great- Great- Grandchild. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 Sunday at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends on Saturday, from 6:00-8:00pm at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Cindy Nichols 607 Hwy 1 South, Rockingham, NC 28379.
