Dorothy Hill Kennedy

Dorothy Edna Hill Kennedy, 79, of Rockingham, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Richmond Pines Healthcare Center in Hamlet. Mrs. Kennedy was born April 20, 1933 in Tazwell, VA, a daughter of the late Eunice Elbert and Mary Watson Hill. She had retired from the Virginia State Agriculture Extension office. Surviving are her children, Jerry Kennedy of Richlands, Va, Max Kennedy, Jr. (Shelia) of Richlands, VA, Ricky Kennedy of Rockingham, Tammy Albert (Anthony) of Rockingham; grandchildren, Stephanie Albert of Rockingham, Buck Kennedy of Richlands, VA; great-grandchildren, Devin and Nathan Langley of Rockingham; brother, Junior Elswick of Virginia; and sisters, Betty Bachman of Virginia and Bill Jean Underwood of Ohio.
