Emma Nicey Spivey

Emma Nicey Jenkins Spivey, 86, passed away Wednesday morning in Wilson, NC. She was born October 12, 1926 in Rockingham, NC to the late Marshall and Addie Anderson Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband John Jasper Spivey, Sr., two brothers Johnny Jenkins and Fred Jenkins and her grandson Nicholas Brent Spivey. Visitation will be at Carter Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2013 followed by the funeral at 3:00 pm. Internment will follow at Richmond Memorial Park. Surviving are her son, John Jasper (Jacky) Spivey, Jr. and wife Vicky of Advance, NC and her daughter Marsha Spivey (Cissy) Parks and husband Barry of Wilson, NC, three grandchildren John Zachary Spivey and wife Kimberly of Apex, NC, Lori Parks Eldredge and husband Michael of Wilson, NC , Sara Parks of Wilson, NC , great granddaughter, Haley Spivey of Apex, NC, and two special nephews Freddy and Roger Jenkins and their families. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to 3HC Hospice of Goldsboro or the Alzheimer Foundation of America.
