Donna Norton McLean

Donna Lynn Norton McLean, 48, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 due to an automobile accident. Donna was born October 1, 1964, a daughter of Benjamin Norton and the late Helen Smith Norton. She had formerly been employed with Burlington Industries. She was preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Toni Annette Carpenter. Surviving are her husband, Tony McLean of the home; daughter, Erica Brook Chavis of Rockingham; grandson, Dalton Alexander Chavis of Rockingham; father, Benjamin Norton of Hamlet; and brothers, Johnny Norton of Matthews and Tommy Norton of Norman. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Griffin officiating. The family will see friends following the service at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
