Brenda Joyce Williams

Brenda Joyce Williams, 68, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Mrs. Williams was born October 21, 1944 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Alex and Irene Hinson Brown. She had been employed by Aleo Manufacturing Company. Surviving are her children, Jimmy Williams of Rockingham; Misty Ransom of Perrin, Texas; five grandchildren and her brother, Alex Brown, Jr. of Washington, NC. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Monday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. A.B. Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice Haven, c/o Richmond County/Anson County Hospice, 1119 N. US 1 Hwy, Rockingham, NC 28379.
