Mrs. Pauline Lambert Leviner, 88, of 140 Madison Ave., Rockingham died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. She was born January 18, 1920 in Cabarrus Co., a daughter of the late Roy and Lela Tucker Lambert. Mrs. Leviner was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she sang in the choir and was treasurer for the Hand Maiden Bible class for many years. She was retired from the textile industry. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, April 5th at First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Harris Jordan and Rev. L. D. Driggers officiating. Entombment will follow in Richmond Memorial Park. Surviving are her sons, Tony Leviner of Wallace, SC, Jimmy Leviner and Neville Leviner, Jr., both of High Point, and Phil Leviner of Rockingham; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren; and one sister, Ann Clark of Wilmington. Her husband, Neville Leviner, and brothers, Richard Lambert and Wilbert Lambert, and a sister, Viola Terry, preceded Mrs. Leviner in death. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home on Madison Ave.
