Anne M. Anderson

Anne Martin Anderson Mrs. Anne M. Anderson 76 of 386 County Home Road Rockingham died Saturday June 8, 2013 at her home. She was born January 5, 1937 in Richmond County, NC a daughter of the late Robert R. and Lucy Belle Beane Martin. She was a Comptroller for Richmond Savings and Loan for many years. Anne was a active member of Rockingham First United Methodist Church for many years, where she served as Treasurer for the Merry Makers, a group that she and her husband Carl enjoyed very much. She is survived by her husband Carl J. Anderson of the home, a son Carl A. “Tony” Anderson and his wife Martha of Rockingham, sisters Bobbie White and Lucille Butler of Rockingham. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Leanne Jurczyk and husband Patrick ,and Matthew Anderson and her great grandchildren; Michael and Kason Jurczyk. A service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held 11:00 am Tuesday June 11, 2013 at Rockingham First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Mike Sykes and Rev. Allison Farrah. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. Those who desire may make memorials to either the First United Methodist Church 410 Washington Street Rockingham, NC 28379 or to Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders 3420 Shamrock Drive Charlotte, NC 28215.
