Pat Warren Hasie

Pat Warren Hasie, 94, of Hoffman, passed away, Monday, June 24, 2013 at his home on Belveu Farm. Mr. Hasie was born August 29, 1918 in Hampton , MS, a son of the late Charles and Lulu Baldridge Hasie. Pat retired from the US Army, having served in World War II and was a member of the American Legion, Rockingham Post 147. Following his retirement, he worked with the GSA for 10 years and then established Belveu Farms in Hoffman. The last of a family of eight, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Faye Morgan Hasie. Surviving are his daughters, Marcia Hasie-Daniels and Patricia Hasie Comninaki, both of Hoffman; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 5:00 pm Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Langford officiating. Those who desire may make a memorial contribution to the charity of their choice. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
