Ronnie Lee Allen

Ronnie Lee Allen, 69, of 210 Butler Dr., Hoffman, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. Allen was born July 28, 1938 in Richmond Va, a son of the late George Leonard and Edna Elizabeth Harvey Allen. He retired from the US Army as a Staff Sergeant and later retired from Aberdeen Bag Company. He was preceded in death by his wives, Sally Ann Allen and Peggy Joyce Allen. Surviving are his daughter, Veronica Lowe of Pinehurst, step children, Malia Kannady of Whiteville, Donna Wright of Ellerbe, Mark Britt of Hamlet, Pete Britt of Rockingham, a sister Diane Childs of Richmond VA, and 8 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Burial will be at Maury Cemetery in Richmond Va at 2:00 PM Friday with military honors. The family will see friends following the service at the funeral home
