Larry Terrell Deese

Larry Terrell “Terry” Deese, 50, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at his home. Larry was born July 10, 1963 in Moore County, the son of William H. and Georgia Patterson Ussery Deese. He was a member of West Rockingham United Methodist Church and had spent over 20 years working in textiles before becoming a certified heavy equipment operator. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast. Surviving are his wife, Donna Lee Fulp Deese of the home; children, Travis R. Deese and Brandon T. Deese, both of Rockingham, Heather N. Boone of Hamlet and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Dawkins officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
