Anne Cribbs Brigman

Muriel Anne Cribbs Brigman, 71, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Anne was born February 7,1942 in Richmond County, a daughter of Annie Laurie Williams Cribbs and the late Earl Cribbs. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockingham, an avid gardener and for over 40 years was employed in the offices of Burlington Industries. She was preceded in death by her father and a granddaughter, Caroline Anne Brigman. Surviving are her husband, Sam Brigman of the home; sons, John Mark Brigman and Shannon Brigman, both of Hamlet; grandchildren, Johnna Michelle Brigman and Jorja Muse Brigman, both of Hamlet and Surf City; mother, Annie Laurie Cribbs of Rockingham and sister, Patsy Cribbs Curry of Monroe. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Sunday at Richmond County Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Jim Nelson officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at First Baptist Church of Rockingham and at other times at the home.
