Ruth Emma Lovin

Ruth Emma Joyce Lovin, 76, of 360 Firetower Rd. Ellerbe, died April 21, 2008 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Mrs. Lovin was born April 23, 1931 in Surry County, NC, a daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Savannah Turner Campbell Joyce. She was a member of McLean Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Women’s Auxillary and was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Ralph D. Lovin of the home, daughter, Cynthia Kay Lovin of Asheboro, sons, Rex Michael Lovin and R. Timothy Lovin both of Asheboro, Jeffrey S. Lovin of Pfafftown, brother, Eugene Joyce of Fayetteville, sisters, Nell Sanderson and Dorothy “Bill” Williams both of Fayetteville, Edith Watson of Franklinville and Mary Rummage of Lexington, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at McLean Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
