Kenneth Milton “Kenny” King, 67, of Elizabeth Avenue Rockingham, died Saturday August 3, 2013 in First Health Moore Regional Hospital. He was born June 9, 1946 in Richmond County, NC a son of Margaret Viola Mclean King and the late Milton Legree King. Kenny had been employed as a truck driver for L.G. DeWitt Trucking Company, a dispatcher for Rockingham Police Department and later as a driver for Central Taxi. He is survived by his mother Viola M. King of Rockingham, a sister Denise King Taylor and husband Michael of Rockingham and his niece Erica Taylor, nephews, Michael Taylor and wife Angelina, Steven Taylor. Great nieces and nephew; Jessica Canter, Charlee Taylor, Kennidy Taylor and Gavin Taylor. Also surviving is his beloved dog Kassey. A service to celebrate Kenny’s life will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel officiated by Rev. Butch Park, burial will follow in Northam Cemetery.
