Larry Leonard Lovin

Larry Leonard Lovin, 72, of Rockingham, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. Lovin was born August 29, 1940 in Richmond County, a son of the late William Leonard and Nora Tilley Lovin. He was a member of Touch of Grace Free Will Baptist Church and had retired from Cranford Trucking Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lovin. Surviving are his son, Jonathan Eric Lovin of Ellerbe; daughters, Robbie and Kim; step-son, Sean Anthony Williams of Ellerbe; brothers, Ronnie Lovin of Rockingham, Dennie Lovin of Lumberton; sisters, Dianne Bianca of Myrtle Beach, SC, Faye Stutts of Ellerbe and Helen LoCascio of Hamlet and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday at McLean Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Stone and Rev. Ricky Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the Locascio Home, 514 Oak Ave, Hamlet, or the Stutts Home, 714 Firetower Rd., Ellerbe.
