Henry Woodrow Martin, Jr.

Henry Woodrow Martin, Jr., 69, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his home. Henry was born June 18, 1944 in Richmond County, a son of the late Henry Woodrow Martin and Dorothy Faye Brogden Martin Calber. He had been employed in construction prior to his disability. Surviving are his daughter, Tammy Moloney of Hamlet; step-son, John Johnson of Rockingham; grandchildren, Tamara Scott of Ellerbe, Charlie Scott, Jr. of Cordova; great-grandchildren, Lexie, Jayden, Gracie, Aiyana and Nyla Scott and Jacey Ball; and brothers, Roy Martin of Ellerbe and Jimmy Martin of Rockingham. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Monday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Interment will be private.
