Jerry Franklin Carroll

Jerry Franklin Carroll, 67, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at his home. Jerry was born February 15, 1946 in Okaloosa County, Florida, a son of Georgia Allred Carroll and the late Jarvis Franklin Carroll. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, had served his country in the US Air Force, and was a grower of chickens, tobacco and cattle. Surviving are his wife, Kay Paul Carroll of the home; children, Jason Carroll (Hilda) of Ellerbe, Marsha Davis (Marty) of Rockingham, Teresa Bullard (Jody) of Rockingham; grandchildren, Kayla and Jordan Carroll, Natalie and Claire Davis, Chaselyn and Brenon Bullard, Katie Lowe, Renee McCaskill and Brittany Wagoner; great grandchild, Maci Wagoner; mother, Georgia Carroll of Rockingham and sister, Glenda Stutts (Hal) of Rockingham. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday in the Carter Funeral Home, Ellerbe Chapel with Rev. Steve Eddins and Odell Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
