Walter "Eddie" Edward Morse

Walter Edward “ Eddie” Morse, 71, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, October 03, 2013 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Mr. Morse was born February 7, 1942 in Richmond County, a son of the late Jesse Walter Morse, Jr. and Lillian Woodson Morse. He was a member of Boyd Lake Road Church of Christ, had served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force and retired as an Independent Insurance Sales Representative. Surviving are his son, David Morse (Lee Ann) of Boaz, KY; daughter, Deborah Morse Williams (Tom) of Woodbridge, VA; grandchildren, Aubrey Morse, Madeline Williams, Jesse Morse, Ellery Williams; and a sister, Minnie Phillips (Richard) of Rockingham. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Boyd Lake Road Church of Christ with Wesley Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
