Pauline Kelly Thompson

Pauline Tucker Kelly Thompson, 88, of Rockingham, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mrs. Thompson was born May 15, 1925, in Anson County, A daughter of the late Harley Bivens and Reba White Tucker. She was a longtime member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Oscar Kelly. Surviving are her daughters, Doris Kelly Norris of Raleigh, Joyce Kelly Brady ( Michael) of Asheboro; granddaughters, Kelly Sheppard Shatat (Mohammad) of Raleigh, Lisa Burr of Rockingham and a brother, T.C. Tucker of Statesville. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Tuttle officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
