Joyce Shaw Cranford

Joyce Cranford Joyce Shaw Cranford, 81 of Supply, NC formerly of Norman died Saturday November 23, 2013 in Hospice Haven, Rockingham. Born August 5, 1932 in Montgomery County, NC a daughter of the late Kyle and Maie Greene Shaw, she was preceded in death by her husband Elvin Randle Cranford. Joyce was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church in Holden Beach and had worked as a bookkeeper with L.G. DeWitt Trucking Company and Johnsons Produce prior to retirement. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday at Norman United Methodist Church, Rev. Dena White will officiate. She is survived by her sons; Randy Cranford and wife Cathy of Aberdeen, NC, Steve Cranford and wife Gwen of Norman, her sister Jenelle S. Thompson of Ellerbe and a grandson Dustin Cranford of Greensboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church and other times at the home of her sister, Jenelle Thompson, 842 Capel Mill Road Ellerbe.
