Lois Dunn Goodwin

Lois Grey Dunn Goodwin, 73, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet. Mrs. Goodwin was born February 17, 1940 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Carmie and Bernice Ann McLendon Dunn. She attended Abundant Life Church and had been employed in the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Goodwin. Surviving are her children, Bernie Wyand, Jr. of Hamlet, Steve Wyand and wife Susan of Rockingham, Ruth Ann Johnson of Smithfield, Dana Rodgers and husband Bob of Rockingham, Jeff Wyand of Rockingham, Danny Wyand of Raleigh, Bobbie McQueen of Smithfield; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Betty Thomas of Rockingham; and brothers, Joe Dunn of Omaha, NE, Jerry Coble and D.A. Coble, both of Rockingham. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday at Abundant Life Church with Rev. Joe Wilkes, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Gilead. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Abundant Life Church. Memorials may be made to Abundant Life Church, P.O.
