Joyce Eaves Lisk

Joyce Eaves Lisk, 80, of Cordova, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Mrs. Lisk was born July 9, 1933 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late James Elmer and Ethel Nuttall Eaves. She attended Cordova United Methodist Church , retired from Richmond Memorial Hospital and had also worked with Roberts Produce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Lisk, Jr. and her brothers Shorty, Mickey and Bob Eaves. Surviving are her son, Joey Lisk and wife Sweet Pea of Cordova; daughter, Vicki Mitchell and husband Ken of Greenbush, Maine; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild and brothers Jim Eaves and Rudy Eaves, both of Rockingham. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Griffin, Rev. Glenn Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park with Pastor Vickie Easterling officiating. The family will see friends from 12:45 -1:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home in Cordova.
