Jonathan Michael Watson

Jonathan Michael Watson, 29, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at his home. Jon was born February 25, 1984 in Mecklenburg Co, NC a son of Rev. Timothy B. Watson and Tonia Jean Dixon. He had worked as an electrician. Surviving are his parents, Rev. Timothy and Tonia D. Watson; brothers, Timothy Webster, of Hamlet, David Watson of Welch, W.VA, sisters, Angela Dunlap of Shalotte, Kristy Thompson of Galax, VA; grandparents, John and Doris Todd of Rockingham; grandparents, John and Doris Todd of Rockingham and his special friend and dog, Molly. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Monday at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Darwin Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery. The family will see friends from 1:45 to 2:45 pm Monday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
