Bobby Lavern Elmore

Bobby Lavern Elmore, 79, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Mr. Elmore was born August 21, 1934 in Richmond County, a son of the late Donnie English. He had worked with Beaunit Mills and retired from Richmond Yarns in Ellerbe and was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Jarrell Elmore. Surviving are his sons, Bobby L. Elmore, Jr and wife Barbara of Rockingham, Greg Elmore of Rockingham; grandson Nevin Elmore of Rockingham and brother, William Elmore and wife Jean of Murpheesboro, TN. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Friday at Eastside Cemetery with Lee McDonald officiating. The family will see friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
