April Lace Stone

April Lace Stone, 29, of Ellerbe, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Ms. Stone was born June 22, 1984 in Phoenix AZ. She worked in retail at Dollartree and Wal-Mart and was a caring loving person. Her parents Bobbi Jo Rummage Allred and Denny Swords preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughter Katlyn Owens of the home, sister Amber and her fiancé Brandon Lee of Ellerbe, niece Skylar lee and nephew Joshua Stone and several other nieces and nephews, grandparents Harris Rummage and Joann Ritter, and her fiancé James Herndon. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday February 1, 2014 at Jones Springs United Methodist Church in Ellerbe with the Rev. Dena White and Rev. Ricky Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday January 31, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe.
