William Roger Webb

William Roger Webb, 63, of 413 Curtis Dr. Rockingham died Saturday, July 5, 2008, at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. Mr. Webb was born March 9, 1945, in Montgomery County a son of Geneva Greene Webb and the late William Z. “Bill” Webb. He was former owner and agent of R. B. Deaton Insurance and was a member of Saron Baptist Church. A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Ellerbe Cemetery with the Rev Richard Stanford. Surviving Mr. Webb is his wife Dianne Smith Webb of the home, daughters Shannon Terry, Jennifer Carraway, Dana Webb all of Rockingham, mother Geneva Webb of Mt Gilead, sisters Katie Tyson of Ellerbe, Barbara Blake of Mt Gilead and 4 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:00 PM Monday evening at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
