John Stanley Snead

John Stanley Snead, 62, of 154 Central Ave. Rockingham, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet. Mr. Snead was born October 12, 1945 in Richmond County, a son of the late Monroe and Elmare Grice Snead. Prior to his disability he was a carpenter. His sister Myrtle Steen preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Angie Kirby Snead of Rockingham, sons, Patrick Snead and Jonathan Snead, both of Rockingham, daughters, Roxanne Wallace and Amy Foushee, both of Rockingham, brother, Danny Snead of Rockingham, sister, Lucille McNeill of Charlotte, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and stepchildren, Gregory Gomez, Brymon Gomez and Tara Gomez all of Rockingham. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Richmond County Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will see friends from 6:0 – 8:00 PM Monday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the Wallace home, 100 Aslington St. Rockingham.
