Clarence Leon Parker

Clarence Leon Parker 81, of Rockingham Passed away Friday March 28, 2014 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro NC surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Parker was born November 19, 1932 in Richmond County to the late L.T. Parker and Edna Rose Wilson. He served in the US Army and was retired from the textile industry as a supervisor. Surviving are his wife of 61 years Martha Frances Wilson Parker of the home; a son Jeff Parker and wife Tammy of Ramseur; a daughter Linda Parker Frye and husband Neal of Asheboro NC; two grandsons Zachary Parker and Chris Parker; granddaughter Jada Frye Stevens. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday April 1, 2014 at the Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel in Rockingham with the Rev. Scott Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends Monday March 31, 2014 from 5 to 7:00pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
