Jerry Lynn Kimball

Jerry Lynn Kimball, 51, of Hamlet, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.Jerry was born June 9, 1962 in Richmond County, a son of the late James Kimball and Beulah Hailey Furr. He was employed with Burlington Industries and was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Paul Furr and sister, Betty Brown. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Lynn Bloomfield Kimball of the home; son Jerry Kimball of Rockingham; grandchildren, Drew and Nevaeh Kimball, and brothers, Andy Furr of Raleigh and Roger Hailey of Hamlet.Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Tyler officiating. Interment will follow in the Edith Ruth Ferguson Cemetery in Vass. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
