Thomas David Dixon, Jr.

Thomas David Dixon, Jr., 68 of Waymart, Pennsylvania and formerly of Rockingham died Tuesday April 29, 2014 at Scranton Medical Center in Pennsylvania.  He was born April 29, 1946 in Richmond County a son of the late Thomas David Dixon and Doris Henry Dixon Todd of Rockingham. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas David Dixon, Sr., brother Johnny E. Barker, Jr., and stepsister Louise Todd Spellman. Surviving are his mother, Doris Henry Todd, stepfather John Todd of Rockingham; sisters, Tonia Dixon Watson of Rockingham, Jolene Barker Beaty of Matthews, Debra Barker Orr of Rockingham, stepbrothers, Johnny Todd of Wilmington, Mike Todd of Kelly, NC, and a stepsister, Eva Todd Norton of  Rockingham. Visitation will be 3:15 – 4:15 pm Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Graveside service will follow at 4:30 pm in Eastside Cemetery.
