Linda Sue Coleman

Linda Sue Coleman, 70, of Ellerbe, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.   Sue was born November 1, 1943 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Jesse and Blondie Murphy Coleman. She was a member of Saron Baptist Church and had retired from Hanes Hosiery. She was preceded in death by brothers, J.C, Tommy, Jimmy and Donald Coleman and sister, Audrey Collins.  Surviving are her sister, Pat Mills and husband Coy of Ellerbe; their family, who Sue thought of as her own, Amy Berry and husband Lee and Jodie Mills, Coleman, Jack and Ava Berry and many other nieces and nephews.   Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe with Rev. Wayne Luck officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.   The family will see friends from 1:45 to 2:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Amy and Lee Berry, 186 W.
