Judith Wiggins Fann

Mrs. Judith Wiggins “Judy” Fann, 72, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 surrounded by her loved ones at the Richmond County Hospice Haven in Rockingham, NC. Mrs. Fann was born November 16, 1935 in Rock Hill, SC, the daughter of the late Wilbur Waylon and Della Dorsett Wiggins. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and for many years she was the owner and operator of Kiddie Korner Nursery. Her joys were her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. She enjoyed her flower gardens, crafting, and cooking. She and her husband were avid campers. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Archie Fann of the home; son, Lindy Fann and wife Angelia of Franklinville, NC, daughters, Daphne Fann Siegel and husband Barry, Janice Fann Shirley and husband Delmar, all of Florida; brothers, Bobby Wiggins and wife Dot, Allison Wiggins and wife Alene, all of Rockingham; brother-in-law, Tom Fann of Rockingham; two grandchildren, Chris Fann and Mindy Fann and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Marshall Norris officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Monday and at other times at the home . The family sincerely appreciates the staff at the Richmond County Hospice and Hospice Haven for their dedication , excellent care and support.
