Lois Campbell McGee

Lois Elaine Campbell McGee of 138 Fourth Street Cordova died Saturday evening, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born May 1, 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ed Douglas McGee earlier this month also preceding her in death are her siblings: brothers; Roy Campbell, Bill Campbell, Earl Campbell and a sister Margaret Graham. She is survived by a daughter Lori McGee Pike of Cordova, sons; Jeffrey D. McGee (Sandra Lynch), Randy McGee (Cathy) all of Cordova and Jake McGee (Kim) of Rockingham. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Mandy McGee, Chad McGee, Shannon McGee, Megan Cribb, Josh McGee, Stephanie McGee, Casey Pike, Hunter McGee, two great grandchildren, Cy Cribb and Jayce McGee, also her very special “children” , William and Bridget Greene and Crystal Goodwin. A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at Jefferson Park Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Roger Webster and Rev. Bud Jacobs will officiate. Burial will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8:00pm at Jefferson Park Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the home.
