George Arnel Hudson

George Arnel Hudson, 66, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his home. Mr. Hudson was born November 26, 1947 in Richmond County, a son of the late William David and Helen Margaret Thompson Hudson. He was an auto mechanic and a taxi driver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Walter, Clyde, Hobert, Carl and Leroy Hudson and sisters Mary Melton and Delilah Chappell. Surviving are his son, Greg Hudson of Rockingham; granddaughter, Jessica Hudson; brothers, Larry Hudson, Clifford Hudson, William (Junior) Hudson, Jr., Edwin Hudson, all of Rockingham, John Hudson of Goldsboro; and a sister, Margie Cobbler of Rockingham. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5 to 7 pm Thursday at the home, 135 Lady Mary Lane, Apt. 5G. Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham is assisting the Hudson Family.
