Flora Robinson Myers

Flora Ellen Robinson Myers, 80, of Hamlet, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Myers was born May 2, 1934 in Mecklenburg County, a daughter of the late James (Jim) and Charity Louisa Speight Robinson. She was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church and had been employed with Roses Department Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Tarlton Myers and a son, Lewis Tarlton Myers, Jr. Surviving are her son, Alan Myers and wife Pamela of Hamlet; grandchildren, Phillip Myers and wife Amber, Samantha Myers and fiancé Michael James; and a sister, Louise McInnis of Durham. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at Richmond County Memorial Park with Rev. David Woolsey and Rev. Joe B. Wilkes, Jr. officiating. The family will see friends following the service and at other times at Alan and Pam’s home. Memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 US Hwy 1 N., Rockingham, NC 28379.
