Lois Jean Smith

Lois Jean Smith, 68 of Raeford died Friday July 4, 2014. A service to celebrate her life will be held 5:00 pm. Sunday July 6, 2014 at Ellerbe Cemetery, Rev. Wayne Richardson will officiate. She was born May 17, 1947 in Montgomery County, NC a daughter of the late Fred David and Katie Gardner Smith. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray David Smith, Harold Loyd Smith and her sisters Shirley Mae Wilson and Carrie Cowick. She is survived by her brother Fred David Smith, Jr. of Vass and a sister Wanda Patterson of Pinehurst. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:30 pm Sunday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe.
