Arthur "Jim" Lee Sellers

Arthur Lee “Jim” Sellers, 85, of Ellerbe, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at his home. Jim was born November 22, 1928 in Richmond County, a son of the late Jessie Lee and Berdie Moore Sellers. He had served his country in the US Army and US Air Force and was a painter and carpenter. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Carol Sellers, and siblings, Ernest Sellers and Myrtly Rayfield. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Price Sellers of the home; sons, Jimmy Sellers and wife Nancy of Ellerbe, Mark Sellers of the home, Greg Sellers and wife Tina of Mt. Gilead; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held at 11 am Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe with Rev. Stan Layton officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home.
