Bonnie Hamilton

Bonnie Hamilton, 62 of Rockingham, NC, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Hospice Haven of Richmond County surrounded by her family. She was born March 30, 1952 in Richmond county to the late Arnold Hamilton and Arizona Gainey Hamilton. She was a graduate of Rockingham High School , employed in textiles with J.P. Stevens and later as a sales counselor at Richmond County Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Vivian H. Childers. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Rockingham, with the Rev. Joe B. Wilkes, Jr., officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home. Surviving are daughters, Angel Thompson and Steve, Crystal Johnson and Dustin; brother, Sam H. Hamilton; grandchildren, Cadence and Ava Thompson, Michael Jordan, and Elena Johnson; nephew, Nathaniel Dawkins; and niece, Ciara Dawkins. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 Highway #1 North, Rockingham, NC 28379.
