Frances Steen Davis

Frances Steen Davis, formerly of 5092 Nebo Church Road, Bennettsville, SC went home to be with the Lord Saturday August 2, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends. Frances was preceded in death by her son Gerald Davis and her husband Thomas (Hobb) Davis. Surviving is her daughter and caretaker, Diane Davis of 117 Park Street Rockingham, her sons; Billy Ray Davis and fiancée Shannon Patrick of Bennettsville, SC , Earl davis and wife Glenda of Holden Beach, NC, Jimmy Davis and wife Sheryl of Rockingham, Wayne Lee Davis of Bennettsville, her brother Johnny Steen and wife Pat. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm. at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home of her daughter Diane at 117 Park Street, Rockingham. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Monday August 4, 2014 at Sandhill’s Wesleyan Church, formerly Prevatt’s Chapel , one mile south of the North Carolina line on Hwy 38.
