Marcus Norton Spivey

Marcus Norton Spivey, 53, of Ellerbe, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at his home. Marc was born November 10, 1960 in Richmond County, a son of the late Charles and Edna Norton Spivey and had been employed with Aleo Manufacturing. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie and Larry Spivey. Surviving are his daughter, Christy Shephard Meland (Mark) of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jackson Stogner, Madison Meland; brother, Andy Spivey (Willa) of Ellerbe; sisters, Sandra Richardson (Donnie) of Ellerbe, Robin Gentry (Alton) of Laurinburg; aunts, Mary Helen Capps of Ellerbe, Margaret Mathis of Cheraw and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately.
